Lots of people put a whole lot of work into their paint jobs. Some of those folks put a lot of work into detailing as well, such as grills, lighting, wing and ground effects detailing, even all the way to engine bays and interiors.
 
    Something that's been lacking up to now has been external, non-automotive details; figures to go with the finished car.

    Well, now you can round out your Concours display with figures from KMaynesPaint. These are 1/10-scale (or approximately so) figures intended to fit within a racing environment. They're cast using a two-part urethane plastic, which is light, durable, easily modifiable, and takes paint well. You can create your own racing team, dressed in colours to match your contest-winning paint scheme!

    The first figure in the line is #001 Driver, as seen above. The retail version of the figure is bare white urethane resin, and can be had for $20+S&H. You can order one fully painted up, for anywhere from $50 to $200, depending on the detail you require.

    If there is enough interest in the figure line, (i.e., enough of the #001 sell; say 15 copies), there will be further figures coming into production. Plans for the Figure line include several figures, including at least one other driver variant, as well as a number of pit crew members. The next figure in the lineup though will be a woman posed to be holding an umbrella or banner. Check back here for a concept sketch. I'm certainly open to suggestion; if there's a figure you absolutely have to have for your Concours diorama, let me know and I'll see what I can do about moving it up the production schedule.
